The Little Sombrero Bird Feeder Kit is mostly made from upcycled (steel) food cans. It is completely handmade and solidly constructed using high-quality hardware and rivets. It arrives to your door as a fully assembled kit complete with feeder, hanger, premium bird seed and gift tag. All of our bird feeders are made in the Little Desert Animals workshop.
Birds love it! It's really cute but it's also thoughtfully designed and fully functional. There are perches on both sides so multiple birds can eat together. Birds love to use the sombrero 'hat' as a lookout perch, too. See the video above of our backyard feeders in action.

The Little Sombrero Bird Feeder contains no harmful metals or coatings. It's made completely of steel and has brass accents on top and bottom. All exposed edges are meticulously smoothed for bird safety.
Filling, cleaning and disinfecting this feeder is easy; just unscrew the top and clean.
This adorable feeder is an original Little Desert Animals design and is handmade in the USA by Guy and Patty Sparger.
